Our Mission
Used car fraud costs UK buyers hundreds of millions of pounds every year. Hidden finance, clocked mileage, stolen vehicles, and undisclosed write-offs are all too common. AutoReveal exists to level the playing field — giving private buyers access to the same data that professional dealers have always had.
Every report is built from official, licensed sources. We never fabricate or estimate data — if a record doesn't exist in the official databases, we say so clearly rather than guessing.
Our Data Sources
DVLA
Official Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency data for registration, tax status, and vehicle specifications.
DVSA
Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency MOT test history including pass/fail records, mileage, and advisory notices.
Experian AutoCheck
Via OneAutoAPI Limited — finance registers, stolen vehicle database, write-off records, keeper history, and plate changes.
Valuation APIs
Live market valuation data providing trade, private, and retail price estimates with depreciation history.
Our Commitments
- ✓We only use officially licensed data from DVLA, DVSA, and authorised data providers.
- ✓We never sell your search history or personal data to third parties.
- ✓Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never store card details.
- ✓All passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We will never ask for your password by email.
- ✓If a data source is unavailable, we tell you clearly rather than returning incomplete results silently.
